FILMMAKER

Writer/Director Lindsey E. Gary is a cinematic jane-of-all-trades whose multi-faceted career has explored the intersection of production and technology.

The daughter of a studio teacher, Lindsey grew up on film sets, and embarked on her own behind-the-scenes journey in the art department of JURASSIC PARK III. Since then, Lindsey has worked in art departments, visual effects, production management, and development on titles including PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN II & III, SUICIDE SQUAD, LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS, and LOU.

Most recently, she has worked in story and look development alongside director Anna Foerster. Together they co-penned the feature script RAINMAKER.

Lindsey made her writing and directorial debut with the award-winning short film HUMMINGBIRD starring Stella Maeve (THE MAGICIANS) and Ella Grace Helton (UNITED WE FALL).

In her work, Lindsey seeks to craft thought-provoking, visually rich, moving stories of complex women that inspire curiosity and connection.
